Encapsulated Coverage
Before — October 2020

The Starting Condition

Exposed dirt floor, bare wood joists, brick foundation piers, old partial plastic sheeting, visible moisture and debris. The crawlspace was an open pathway for ground moisture to enter the home — creating the conditions for mold growth and degraded indoor air quality above.

During — December 2022

Encapsulation in Progress

Heavy-duty vapor barrier poly installed across all walls and floors. Support columns wrapped. The encapsulation process creates a complete moisture barrier between the ground and the home's structural and air systems — cutting off the primary source of humidity intrusion.

After — May 2023

The Finished Result

Complete encapsulation — white vapor barrier covering every surface, columns wrapped, humidity monitor installed. The space went from a dark, damp dirt floor crawlspace to a clean, dry, controlled environment. Zero water intrusion on follow-up inspection.

Crawlspace after full encapsulation — clean white vapor barrier Crawlspace after encapsulation — humidity monitor installed Crawlspace encapsulation complete — final result
